“Everyone of us needs at least half an hour each day, except when we’re busy. Then we need an hour.” – St. Francis de Sales
My life is so busy. I just can’t seem to find the time to pray and read the Bible as I should. Yes, our culture demands much of our time. How can we make time for God, who is the maker of time? God gave everyone, without any exception, 24 hours a day or 8,760 hours per year. Typically, an adult spends at least 2,080 hours at work, and 4,185 hours eating and sleeping. That leaves 2,495 disposable hours! How much time do we give back to God in thanksgiving for His many blessings? Father Andrew usually asks parishioners to give at least 2 hours and 24 minutes a week! Can you give at least that much to God?
Next week is Stewardship of Prayer Weekend. Please consider making a commitment to at least one way each in private and public prayer and intention, without neglecting your other forms of prayer and intercessory prayers.
