Honor Guards of the Knights of Columbus came in full regalia, Sunday, November 19, 2017, to honor Father Andrew Kemberling, pastor, for his many years of service, especially his ministerial priesthood, to the Church. Father Andrew , 60, has been a priest for more than 25 years. Father Andrew has been pastor at St. Vincent de Paul Parish since June 2014. Previously, he served as pastor at St. Thomas More Parish in Centennial, Colorado, where he served for 14 years. A Benedictine monk , Father Andrew, served initially as administrator for two years. After he was incardinated to the Archdiocese of Denver, Father Andrew served two terms or 12 years as pastor. Prior to the two assignments, Father Andrew served as pastor at Sacred Heart of Mary in Boulder, Colorado.
In addition to his ministerial priesthood, Father Andrew, who is the dean of the SE Denver Deanery, is known for his expertise in stewardship spirituality and is a sought after mentor and speaker at many diocesan seminars and conferences in the United States and around the world. He has made four mission trips to the Philippines to promote stewardship, speaking twice at plenary assembly of the Catholic Bishops Conference there.
He is also active in the secular society, serving as on the board of various organizations as a member, Colorado Family Foundation, or president, Patron of the Arts of the Vatican Museum.
