F.X. Zettler headed the Royal Bavarian Stained Glass Manufactory, Munich, in the late 1800’s up to around 1925. Along with competitor Franz Mayer they developed the so called “Munich style” of expert painting on stained glass panels.
The stained glass panels in the new St. Vincent de Paul Eucharistic Adoration Chapel were made by F.X. Zettler in approximately 1915 originally for a Catholic Church in New York state and remained there until the church was demolished, at which time they were purchased, shipped, and restored in Colorado in 2020.
