Our God loves us so much that He refused to leave us, even when it was time for Him to ascend back into heaven. That’s why He chose to remain with us in the Eucharist, the Real Presence of Jesus here on earth! As the pinnacle of the sacraments and the high point of all of Christian life, the Eucharist offers us a taste of heaven and a share in Christ’s Body. This spiritual food nourishes us at our weakest, giving us strength to continue, and rejoices with us at our best, uniting our highest aspirations to the God who created them!
Under the guidance of our Archbishop, all churches in the Archdiocese of Denver are restoring the Sacraments of Initiation to their original order: first Baptism, second Confirmation, and third Eucharist. As a result, First Reconciliation occurs in second grade, while Confirmation and First Communion are received together in the same mass in third grade.
At St. Vincent de Paul, we have an 18-month program for 2nd and 3rd grade students to prepare for First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion. To register or to learn more about the program, click the link below, or email Caden at [email protected].

Adults who have not been baptized receive the sacrament of Holy Communion through a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).
Adults who were baptized into another Christian demonimation or were baptized Catholic and never received the sacrament of Holy Communion are invited to prepare for the sacrament through an adapted form of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

The Eucharist changes everything.
This inspiring video communicates the awesome mission of the Christian life. We encounter Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, in the Eucharist. He gives us His Body and His Blood. We are not alone. We become one with Christ in the Eucharist and are called to bring His presence into the world to be light to others.
Jesus desires to heal, renew, and unify the Church and the world. How will he do it? By uniting us once again around the source and summit of our faith—the Holy Eucharist. The National Eucharistic Revival is the joyful, expectant, grassroots response of the entire Catholic Church in the U.S. to this divine invitation.
